Q: When will an attorney be at the Senior Center?

A: The attorney visits the Senior Center on the second Monday of each month. Please call the center to schedule an appointment.

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are located at 33 Michael Drive, Crawfordville, FL 32327.

Q: Can you tell me about the apartments next door?

A: Wakulla Trace Apartments provides low-income housing for seniors and people with dissabilities. Janis is the apartment manager and she can be reached at 926-0207.

Q: What are the hours for the Before & After School Program?

A: The Before & After School Program hours are 6:30 am - 9:30 am (Before) & 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm (After).

Q: Do you need volunteers?

A: We always welcome any volunteers.

Q: What kind of activities does the Senior Center offer?

A: We provide a list of great activities on our Programs & Activities Link in the upper left side of the web site or you can check our monthly schedule under Events.

Q: What is the cost for meals?

A: We ask for a $2 donation for meals.

Q: What age do I have to be to receive services at the Senior Center?

A: To receive services from the Senior Center, you have to be 60 years and older.

Q: How can I get Meals on Wheels?

A: Call the Senior Center to find out if you qualify to receive Meals on Wheels.

Q: What time do you serve lunch?

A: Lunch is served Monday - Friday at noon.

Q: Do you have a pre-set menu available?

A: We do not have a pre-set menu, but if you call the center at 926-7145 by 9:30 am on the day you plan to have lunch, we will tell you what is on the menu for that day.


Q: Do you take people to doctor appointments?

A: Yes, we provide transportation to doctor appointments. We need at least 48 hours notice.

Q: What areas does the Transportation Department serve?

A: The Transportation Department provides service to Leon County and Wakulla County doctors.

Q: Do you have to be a senior citizen to ride the bus?

A: You do not have to be a senior citizen to ride our transportation bus.

Q: What is the cost for transportation?

A: The cost for transportation varies depending on your destination. Please call the Senior Center at 926-7145 and ask for the Transportation Department for information on services and fees.
